Amnon Do Im Sister Tamar Bad Bad Thing
Amnon pretend say e sick so e go fit get im half-sister Tamar alone, e force am, den e hate am and lock di door after am. Tamar tear her robe and live for Absalom house with sorrow. David vex well-well but e no do anything; two years after, Absalom make dem kill Amnon for sheepshearing feast, and e run.
13 1After all dis one, Absalom, David im pikin, get one fine sister wey im name na Tamar, and Amnon, wey be David im pikin, come love am. 2Amnon worry so tey because of im sister Tamar until e come dey sick; she still be virgin, and Amnon no see any way wey e fit take reach am. 3Amnon get one friend wey im name na Jonadab, pikin of Shimeah, wey be David im broda; dis Jonadab na very sharp-sharp man. 4E ask Amnon say, “Wetin dey do you wey your face just dey look tire like dis every morning, you wey be di king im pikin? You no go tell me?” Amnon answer say, “Na Tamar, di sister of my broda Absalom, I dey love.”
5Jonadab tell am say, “Lie down for bed, make you do like say you dey sick. When your papa come see you, tell am say, ‘Abeg make my sister Tamar come give me food chop. Make she prepare di food for my front make I see am, so I go fit chop from her hand.’”
6So Amnon lie down, e do like say e dey sick. When di king come see am, Amnon tell am say, “Abeg make my sister Tamar come make two cake for my front make I see am, so I go fit chop from her hand.”
7David come send word give Tamar for di palace say, “Go your broda Amnon house go make food give am.” 8So Tamar go her broda Amnon house, di place wey e lie down. Amnon come talk say, “Make everybody comot for here.” So everybody comot leave am. 10Amnon tell Tamar say, “Bring di food enter di bedroom, so I go fit chop from your hand.” So Tamar take di cake wey she make, carry dem go meet her broda Amnon for di bedroom. 11As she bring dem near make e chop, e grab am say, “Come, come sleep with me, my sister.”
12She talk say, “No o, my broda! No force me. Dem no dey do dis kind thing for Israel. No do dis disgrace thing. 13And me—which place I go carry my shame go? And you—you go be like one of di useless fool people for Israel. Abeg, talk to di king; e no go stop me from marry you.”

No make dis matter worry your mind.” So Tamar come dey live like woman wey lonely and don finish, for her broda Absalom house.
21When King David hear all dis matter, vex catch am well-well. 22Absalom no talk anything to Amnon, whether good or bad, because e hate am for wetin e do im sister Tamar.
Absalom Revenge For Im Sister Tamar
23After two full years, Absalom get people wey dey cut sheep hair for Baal-hazor near Ephraim, and e invite all di king im pikin dem. 24Absalom go meet di king say, “See, your servant get people wey dey cut sheep hair. Abeg make di king and im servants come join me.”
25Di king tell Absalom say, “No o, my pikin, no be all of us go go, so we no go too heavy for you.” Even as Absalom beg am, e no gree go, but e bless am.

29So Absalom im servants do Amnon just as Absalom command dem. Den all di king im pikin dem stand up, everybody climb im mule, come run comot.
30As dem still dey for road, David hear say, “Absalom don kill all di king im pikin dem; not even one remain.”
31Di king stand up, tear im cloth, come lie down for ground; all im servants come stand near am, with dem cloth wey dem don tear. 32But Jonadab, pikin of Shimeah wey be David im broda, talk say, “Make my oga no think say na all di young men, di king im pikin dem, dem kill. Na only Amnon die. Absalom don plan dis thing since di day wey Amnon do im sister Tamar bad bad thing. 33So make my oga di king no make dis matter worry im mind, dey think say all di king im pikin dem don die. Na only Amnon die.”
34Meanwhile, Absalom don run comot. Di young man wey dey watch look up, come see plenty people dey come down for road, for di side of di hill behind am. 35Jonadab tell di king say, “See, di king im pikin dem don come. Na just as your servant talk.” 36As e finish talk, di king im pikin dem come, dey cry loud-loud; di king and all im servants too come cry with plenty pain for belle.
37Absalom run comot, go meet Talmai, pikin of Ammihud, king of Geshur. And David dey mourn for im pikin every day. 38After Absalom don run go Geshur, e stay there for three years. 39And King David im heart come dey long to go meet Absalom, because e don find comfort after Amnon don die.
