Divine Voice™ Color · counted book by book
Who Speaks in Scripture
Our Father speaks 128,579 words across 5,615 verses. The Son speaks 35,725 words across 2,053 verses. The Holy Spirit speaks 95 words across 10 verses. That is 18.1% of the Bible’s 31,085 verses with our Father speaking, and our Father speaks more than three times the words of the Son. A red letter Bible shows only the Son. Father’s Heart Bible™ prints all three in Divine Voice™ Color: our Father in blue, the Son in red, the Holy Spirit in purple.

How we counted
The color marks ownership, not quotation: were these words actually spoken by a divine person? Everything inside our Father’s utterance is His, including a saying He repeats back from someone else. Words He never spoke are never counted, and narration never is. Words are counted over the colored passages, once each; a verse counts for a speaker when any part of it is his, so a verse where two divine persons speak appears in both columns. Figures are from the locked English text, edition 2026.6 (31,085 verses), the same whole-Bible figures printed in the Divine Voice™ Color editions. See how the Divine Voice™ Color is decided.
For the names our Father is called, see names of God the Father: every name counted.
