1 Corinthians 11

11 ¹Make una follow my example, just as I too dey follow Christ.

¹¹But still, for inside di Lord, woman no dey stand on her own without man, and man no dey stand on im own without woman. ¹²Because as woman come from man, na so man too dey come through woman; but evritin dey come from our Papa. ¹³Make una judge am for una own: e correct make woman pray to our Papa with her head no cover? ¹⁴Nature imsef no dey teach una say long hair for man na shame for am, ¹⁵but if woman get long hair, na her glory, because dem give her di hair as covering? ¹⁶If anybodi wan argue about dis matter, we no get dat kind custom, and di churches of our Papa no get am too.

Dem No Respect di Table of di Lord

¹⁷As I dey give dis instruction, I no dey praise una, because when una come together e no dey better una, e dey worse una. ¹⁸Because first, when una gather as church, I hear say division dey among una, and small small I dey believe am. ¹⁹Because division must even dey among una, so dat di ones wey real among una go show clear. ²⁰So den, when una gather for one place, no be di Supper of di Lord una dey chop. ²¹Because as una dey chop, each person dey rush go ahead with im own supper—one dey hungry, anoda one don drunk. ²²Una no get house wey una fit chop and drink? ²³Because na from di Lord I receive wetin I too hand give una: di Lord Jesus, for di night wey dem betray am, take bread,

²⁷So anybodi wey chop di bread or drink di cup of di Lord for way wey no fit am, dat person don do wrong against di body and blood of di Lord. ²⁸Make person examine imsef first, den make e chop di bread and drink di cup. ²⁹Because anybodi wey chop and drink without to sabi di body dey chop and drink judgment on imsef. ³⁰Na why plenty among una dey weak and dey sick, and some don sleep for death. ³¹But if we judge ourselves di correct way, dem no go judge us. ³²When di Lord judge us, e dey correct us, so dat dem no go condemn us together with di world. ³³So den, my brodas and sistas, when una come together to chop, make una wait for one anoda. ³⁴If anybodi dey hungry, make e chop for house, so dat una gathering no go bring judgment.
