I remember our Papa, I dey groan; I dey think deep, my spirit dey weak. Selah.

You hold my eye open, no let am close; trouble full me, I no fit talk. I think about di days wey don pass long time, di years wey don tey. I remember my song for di night; I think am for my heart, my spirit dey search: "Abi di Papa wey be Oga over all go throway person forever, e no go ever show favour again? Im Covenant love wey no dey change don stop forever? Im promise don end for all generations? Our Papa don forget how to show grace? For im vex, e don hold back im tender mercy wey dey pain belle? Selah.

Then I talk, "Na dis be my cry: di years wey di right hand of di Most High dey work." a a v10 Di cry dey point to di years wey don pass, wen di Most High mighty hand work with power for im people. I go remember di things wey our Papa do; yes, I go remember your wonders wey you do long time. I go think deep about all your work, I go consider all di mighty things wey you do. Your way, our Papa, holy. Which god big reach our Papa? Na you be our Papa wey dey do wonders; you don show your power for inside di people dem. With your arm you redeem your people, di pikin dem of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

Di waters see you, our Papa; di waters see you, dem dey shake for fear; true-true, di deep place dey tremble. Di clouds pour water comot; di sky dey make thunder sound; your arrows dey flash for every side. Di sound of your thunder roll go through di whirlwind; your lightning light up di whole world; di earth tremble, e shake well well. Your road pass through di sea, your path pass through di big waters; but nobody see di mark of your foot. You lead your people like sheep through di hand of Moses and Aaron.
