Psalms 106

106 ¹ Hallelujah! Give our Papa thank you, because e good; im Covenant love go last forever.

² Who fit tell all di mighty things wey our Papa don do, abi shout out all im praise? ³ Blessing dey for people wey dey hold justice tight, wey dey always do wetin correct.

⁴ Remember me, our Papa, wit di favor wey you dey show your people; come to me wit your salvation, ⁵ so dat I fit see how your chosen ones dey prosper, dance wit di gladness of your nation, and rejoice well-well wit di people wey be your own.

¹³ But quick-quick dem forget im works; dem no wait for im advice. ¹⁴ For di wilderness dem give way to craving, and for di empty land dem put our Papa to di test. ¹⁵ So e give dem wetin dem ask, but e send sickness wey dey waste body come among dem. ¹⁶ For di camp dem begin get jealous of Moses, and of Aaron, di holy one of our Papa. ¹⁷ Di ground open and swallow Dathan, and cover di company of Abiram. ¹⁸ Fire blaze against dia company; flame burn up di wicked people.

²⁴ Den dem despise di sweet land; dem no believe im promise. ²⁵ Dem grumble for dia tents and dem no listen to di voice of our Papa. ²⁶ So e raise im hand and swear say e go make dem fall for di wilderness, ²⁷ and make dia pikin dem fall among di nations and scatter dem all over di lands.

⁴⁰ So di anger of our Papa burn against im people, and e hate di people wey be im own. ⁴¹ E hand dem over to di nations, and di people wey hate dem rule over dem. ⁴² Dia enemies oppress dem, and dem come dey under dia power. ⁴³ Plenty times e deliver dem, but for all dia plans dem still bend towards rebellion, and dem sink low for dia iniquity. ⁴⁴ But still, e look dia suffer when e hear dia cry. ⁴⁵ Because of dem, e remember im Covenant, and e change im mind according to di plenty of im loyal love. ⁴⁶ E make all di people wey capture dem take pity on dem.

⁴⁷ Save us, our Papa, and gather us from among di nations, so dat we go give your holy name thank you and rejoice for your praise.
