Mark 2

⁵Wen Jesus see dia faith, im tell di paralyze man, “Pikin, I don forgive your sins.”

⁶Now some of di scribes dey siddon dia, dey reason for dia heart, ⁷“Wetin make dis man dey talk like dis? Im dey blaspheme! Who fit forgive sins except God alone?”

Jesus Call One Tax Collector

¹⁷Wen Jesus hear am, im tell dem, “Na people wey dey well no need doctor, na di sick people dey need am. I no come to call di correct-and-holy people, but sinners.”

New Wine, New Way

¹⁸John im disciples and di Pharisees dey fast. Dem come ask am, “Why John im disciples and di Pharisees im disciples dey fast, but your own no dey fast?”

¹⁹Jesus tell dem, “Di wedding people fit fast wen di bridegroom still dey wit dem? As long as di bridegroom dey wit dem, dem no fit fast. ²⁰But days go come wen dem go take di bridegroom comot from dem; den, for dat day, dem go fast. ²¹Nobody dey sew new cloth wey neva shrink for old cloth; if not, di new patch go tear comot from di old one, and di tear go bad pass. ²²Nobody dey put new wine inside old wineskin; di wine go burst di skin, and di two go spoil. New wine dey enter new wineskin.”

Pikin of Man, Oga of di Sabbath

²³One Sabbath day, im dey waka pass for di grainfield, and as dem dey go, im disciples start to dey pluck di grain heads. ²⁴Di Pharisees tell am, “Look am, why dem dey do wetin no dey lawful for Sabbath?”

²⁵And im tell dem, “Una neva read wetin David do wen im dey need and hungry catch am, both am and di people wey dey wit am, ²⁶how im enter di house of our Papa for di days of Abiathar di high priest, chop di bread of di Presence—wey na only priests fit chop—and give some to di people wey dey wit am?”

²⁷And im tell dem, “Dem make di Sabbath for people, no be say dem make people for di Sabbath. ²⁸So di Pikin of Man na Oga even of di Sabbath.”
