Mark 3

3 ¹Jesus enter di synagogue again, and one man wey im hand don dry dey dia. ²Dem dey watch am well-well to see whether e go heal di man for Sabbath day, so dem fit accuse Jesus.

³Jesus tell di man wey im hand don dry, “Stand up come front.” ⁴Den e ask dem, “Wetin di law allow person do for Sabbath day—to do good or to do bad, to save life or to kill?” But dem no talk anytin. ⁵E look round for dem with vex, and e sorry well-well say dem heart hard, and e tell di man, “Stretch your hand comot.” E stretch am, and im hand come whole again.

⁶Den di Pharisee people comot, and one-time dem begin plan with di Herod people how dem go take kill am.

Crowd Dey Follow di One Wey Dey Heal

⁷Jesus comot with im disciple dem go di sea; plenty crowd from Galilee follow am, and from Judea, ⁸from Jerusalem, Idumea, di oda side of Jordan, and di area round Tyre and Sidon—dem hear all di tin wey e dey do, and plenty crowd come meet am. ⁹E tell im disciple dem make dem keep one small boat ready for am, because of di crowd, so dem no go press am. ¹⁰Because e don heal plenty people, so everybody wey get sickness dey push forward to touch am. ¹¹Anytime di dirty spirit dem see am, dem go fall for im front, dey shout, “You be the Pikin of God!” ¹²But e warn dem well-well make dem no tell anybody who e be.

Jesus Choose di Twelve

¹³Jesus climb go di mountain and call di people wey e want; and dem come meet am. ¹⁴E choose twelve, wey e call apostle, so dem fit dey with am and e fit send dem go preach, ¹⁵and to get power to drive demon comot. ¹⁶Na dis be di twelve wey e choose: Simon, wey e give di name Peter; ¹⁷James di pikin of Zebedee, and John im broda, wey e call Boanerges, wey mean Pikin dem of Thunder; ¹⁸Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James di pikin of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon di Zealot, ¹⁹and Judas Iscariot, wey later sell am comot.

Kingdom Wey No Fit Fall

²⁰E go house; and di crowd gada again, so e and im disciple dem no fit even chop. ²¹Wen im family hear, dem comot go hold am tight, because dem talk say, “Im head don scatter.” ²²Di scribe dem wey come down from Jerusalem talk say, “Beelzebul dey inside am,” and, “Na by di oga of demon dem e dey take drive demon comot.”

²³So Jesus call dem come and talk to dem for parable: “How Satan go take drive Satan comot? ²⁴If one kingdom divide against imsef, dat kingdom no fit stand. ²⁵And if one house divide against imsef, dat house no go fit stand. ²⁶And if Satan stand against imsef and divide, e no fit stand; im end don come. ²⁷Nobody fit enter di house of strong man and carry im property, if e no first tie di strong man—den e fit tif everytin for di house.

²⁸Na true I dey tell una, all sin and all bad-mouth wey people talk against God, dem go forgive di pikin dem of mankind, whatever dem talk, ²⁹but anybody wey blaspheme against the Holy Spirit no go ever get forgiveness; e carry sin wey no dey end for im head,”

³⁰because dem bin dey talk, “Dirty spirit dey inside am.”

³¹Im mama and im broda dem come, and as dem stand outside, dem send message go call am. ³²Crowd sidon round am and tell am, “See, your mama and your broda dem dey outside, dey ask for you.”

³³E answer dem, “Who be my mama and my broda dem?” ³⁴As e look round di people wey sidon surround am, e talk, “See my mama and my broda dem! ³⁵Anybody wey dey do wetin our Papa want na my broda and my sister and my mama.”
