The questions still dey go through wild creatures wey no need human to manage dem: mountain goat wey dey born alone, the donkey wey dey look down on city, the ostrich wey dey forget im eggs, the horse wey dey laugh for fear, the eagle for im high rock. None of dem dey serve Job convenience.

Chapter 39.

"You know di time wey mountain goat dey born? You dey watch di female deer wen dem dey born? You fit count di months wey dem dey carry dia belle? You know di time wey dem dey born? Dem dey bend down come born; di pain of dia labour don finish. Dia pikin dem dey grow strong for di open field; dem dey comot go and dem no dey come back.

"Na who set di wild donkey free? Na who loose di rope of di donkey wey dey run sharp-sharp, di one wey I give di wilderness make e be im house and di salt land make e be di place wey e dey stay? E dey laugh di noise of di city and e no dey ever hear di shout of di one wey dey drive am. E dey waka di mountains looking for grass wey e go chop, e dey find every green thing.

"Di wild ox go gree serve you? E go sleep for night near di place wey you dey put im food? You fit tie di wild ox with rope for di farm line? E go plough di valleys follow you for back? You go lean on am becos im power plenty? You go trust am with your work? You fit trust am make e bring your grain come back and gather am for di place wey you dey thresh am?

"Di wing of di ostrich dey flap with joy, but na feather and plume of stork dem be? E dey leave im eggs for ground and e dey allow dem warm inside di sand, e don forget say leg fit mash dem, or wild animal fit trample dem for ground. E dey treat im pikin dem rough, as if say dem no be im own; e no dey fear say im labour go be for nothing, becos na me make am forget wisdom and I no give am any share for understanding. But wen e stand up begin run, e dey laugh di horse and di one wey dey ride am.

"Na you dey give di horse im power? Na you dey put di mane wey dey shake for im neck? Na you dey make am jump like locust? Di way e dey snort with pride dey put fear for person body. E dey dig di ground for di valley and e dey happy for im power; e dey rush enter fight. E dey laugh fear and nothing dey shake am; e no dey run comot from sword. Di quiver dey make noise for im side, di spear wey dey shine and di javelin. With fierce, raging excitement e dey chop di ground; e no fit stand still wen di trumpet blow. Wen di trumpet blow, e dey talk say, 'Aha!' E dey smell di battle from far, di thunder of di commanders and di war cry.

"Na by your understanding di hawk dey fly and open im wing face south? Na for your word di eagle dey fly go up and build im nest for high place? E dey live for di cliff and e make im house dey there, for di rocky point, im strong place. From there e dey find im food; im eye dey see am from far. Im pikin dem dey chop blood, and any place wey dead body dey, na there e dey."
