The Father's Light Cannot Be Stopped
4 1 Then the angel who talked with me returned and woke me, like someone woken from sleep. 2 He asked, "What do you see?" I said, "A gold lampstand, a bowl on top, seven lamps, seven spouts for each lamp on top."
3 Two olive trees stand by it, one on the bowl's right, the other on its left."
4 And I said to the angel who talked with me, "What are these, my lord?"
5 Then the angel talking with me said, "Don't you know what these are?" I said, "No, my lord."
6 He said to me, "This is our Father's word to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Father of heaven's armies." 7 Who are you, great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you become level ground. He brings out the capstone shouting, 'Grace, grace to it!'
8 Then the word of our Father came to me, saying, 9 Zerubbabel's hands laid this house's foundation; his hands will finish it. Then you'll know the Father of heaven's armies sent me to you. 10 Who has despised the day of small things? They will rejoice, seeing the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand. These seven are the eyes of our Father, ranging over the whole earth."
11 Then I asked him, "What are these two olive trees right and left of the lampstand?" 12 I asked again, "What are these two olive branches beside the two golden pipes pouring out golden oil?"
13 He said to me, "Don't you know what these are?" I said, "No, my lord."
14 He said, "These are the two anointed ones standing by the Sovereign of all the earth."
