Adonijah Request Wey Bring Death

²⁵So King Solomon send Benaiah di son of Jehoiada, wey strike Adonijah down, and e die. ²⁶Di king tell Abiathar di priest sey, "Go your own farm for Anathoth. You suppose die, but I no go kill you now, because you carry di ark of di Sovereign Papa before my father David and you share for all im suffering." ²⁷So Solomon comot Abiathar from di priesthood of our Papa, and dis fulfill di word of our Papa wey e talk for Shiloh about di house of Eli.

²⁸Di news reach Joab—wey take side with Adonijah, no be with Absalom—so e run go di tent of our Papa and hold di horns of di altar. ²⁹Dem tell King Solomon sey Joab don run go di tent of our Papa and e dey beside di altar. So e send Benaiah di son of Jehoiada, sey, "Go, strike am down."

³⁰Benaiah come di tent of our Papa and tell Joab sey, "Di king sey, Comot." E answer sey, "No, na here I go die." Benaiah report give di king sey, "Na so Joab talk, and na so e answer me."

³¹Di king sey, "Do as e talk. ³⁴So Benaiah di son of Jehoiada go up, strike Joab down, and kill am, and dem bury am for im own house for di wilderness. ³⁵Di king put Benaiah di son of Jehoiada over di army for Joab place, and Zadok di priest for Abiathar place.

³⁶Den di king call Shimei come and tell am sey, "Build house for yourself for Jerusalem and stay dia; no comot go anywhere else. ³⁷Because for di day wey you comot cross di Kidron Valley, sabi am for sure sey you go surely die; your blood go dey for your own head."

³⁸Shimei tell di king sey, "Your word good. As my lord di king talk, na so your servant go do." Shimei stay for Jerusalem for long time.

³⁹After three years, two of Shimei servants run go meet Achish di son of Maakah, king of Gath. Dem tell Shimei sey, "Your servants dey Gath."

And you tell me sey, 'Di word good; I go obey.' ⁴³Why den you no keep di oath wey you swear before our Papa and di command wey I give you?" ⁴⁴Di king still tell Shimei sey, "You sabi for your own heart all di wrong wey you do David my father. Now our Papa go bring your evil come back for your own head. ⁴⁵But King Solomon go get blessing, and di throne of David go stand firm before our Papa forever." ⁴⁶Di king order Benaiah di son of Jehoiada, wey comot go strike Shimei down, and e die. So di kingdom stand firm for Solomon hand.
