Den Job answer sey: "I don hear plenty things like dis; all of una na comforters wey no dey comfort person at all. Dis your talk-talk wey be like wind, e no get end? Wetin dey vex you wey make you dey answer answer so? Me too fit talk like una dey talk, if to sey na una dey for my place; I fit line up plenty words against una, come dey shake my head give una. But I for use my mouth make una strong, and di comfort wey comot for my lips for cool down una pain. If I talk, my pain no dey cool down; and if I hold my mouth, wetin dey comot from me? For true, now God don tire me finish; you don scatter all my people. You don dry me up, and e don turn to witness against me; as I don lean so, e stand up against me come testify for my face. Im vex don tear me and attack me; e don gnash im teeth for me; my enemy dey fix im eye for me. People don open dia mouth wide dey look me; dem don slap my jaw to shame me; dem gada together against me. God don hand me over give bad people, come throw me inside di grip of wicked people. I dey rest well, and e break me to pieces; e catch me for neck come mash me down; e don set me up like im target. Im archers surround me; e cut my kidney open, e no show mercy, and e pour my gall for ground. E dey break me, blow after blow; e rush come meet me like soldier wey dey fight war. I don sew mourning cloth cover my skin, come bury my forehead for inside sand. My face don red from cry-cry, and deep darkness dey for my eyelid, even as no violence dey for my hand and my prayer clean. Earth, no cover my blood, and make my cry no find any place to rest. Even now, my witness dey for heaven, and di one wey dey speak for me dey up high. My friends dey scorn me; my eye dey pour tears go give God, make e fit plead di case of man before God, like as pikin of man dey plead for im neighbour. Because na small years remain, and den I go waka di road wey person no dey return from."
