59 1See, our Papa hand no too short to save, im ear no too deaf to hear. 2But na una bad-bad things separate una from una Papa, and una sins don hide im face from una, so dat e no dey hear. 3Because una hands don dirty with blood, and una fingers with sin; una lips don talk lie, una tongue dey mutter wickedness. 4Nobody dey call for justice, and nobody dey plead with true mind. Dem dey trust for empty thing and talk lie; dem dey conceive trouble and born evil. 5Dem dey hatch snake egg and dey weave spider web; anybody wey chop dia egg go die, and if you crush one, snake go comot. 6Dia web no fit turn cloth, and dem no fit cover diaself with wetin dem make. Dia work na work of bad-bad, and dia hand full of violence. 7Dia leg dey run go evil, and dem dey hurry to pour innocent blood. Dia thought na thought of bad-bad; ruin and destruction dey lie for every road wey dem waka. 8Dem no know di way of peace, and justice no dey for dia way. Dem don make dia path crooked; anybody wey waka for am no go know peace. 9Na im make justice dey far from us, and correct-and-holy way no dey reach us. We dey wait for light, but na only darkness dey; for brightness, but na for gloom we dey waka. 10We dey feel di wall like blind man; like people wey no get eye, we dey feel road. We dey stumble for afternoon like say na evening; among strong people we be like dead person. 11All of us dey growl like bear and dey moan with sorrow like dove. We dey wait for justice, but e no dey; for salvation, but e still dey far from us. 12Because our rebellion plenty before you, and our sins dey testify against us. Our rebellion dey with us, and we sabi our bad-bad way: 13we dey rebel and deny our Papa, we don turn back from following our Papa, we dey talk oppression and rebellion, we dey conceive and mutter lie word from di heart.
14So dem don push justice back, and correct-and-holy way dey stand far; because truth don stumble for di market square, and honesty no fit enter. 15Truth don loss, and anybody wey turn from evil dem dey rob am.
