40 ¹For di twenty-fifth year wey we dey for exile, for di start of di year, for di tenth day of di month, fourteen years afta dem knock down di city—for dat very day di hand of our Papa come on top me and carry me go there. ²For visions wey comot from our Papa, e carry me go di land of Israel, put me down on top one very high mountain, wey get sometin like di structure of one city for im south side. ³E carry me go there: one man wey be like bronze, wey hold linen cord and measuring reed for im hand, dey stand for di gateway. ^a a v3 For di whole Old Testament, FHB dey call di divine one wey dey appear and dey talk as our Papa. Dis man wey be like bronze na different one—na angel guide wey dem send make e measure di temple and explain di vision, no be our Papa imsef. ⁴Di man tell me, “Pikin of man, look wit your eyes, hear wit your ears, and put your mind well on evritin wey I go show you, because na so dem bring you come here make dem show you am. ¹⁰Three guard rooms dey each side of di east gate, all di three na di same size; di doorposts for each side measure di same. ¹¹Den e measure di entrance of di gateway: like seventeen and a half feet wide, and di gateway na like twenty-three feet long. ¹²One barrier wey dey front of di guard rooms measure like twenty-one inches for each side; evri guard room na like ten and a half feet for each side. ¹³Den e measure di gateway from di roof of one guard room reach di roof of di oda one, like forty-four feet wide, wit door dey face door. ¹⁴E measure di doorposts—like 105 feet; di court reach di doorpost all around di gateway. ¹⁵From di front of di entrance of di gateway reach di front of im inner porch na like eighty-eight feet. ¹⁶Di guard rooms and dia doorposts get narrow windows all around inside di gateway, and di porches too get am; windows run all around dey face inside, wit palm trees wey dem carve on di doorposts.

¹⁷Den e bring me go inside di outer court; rooms dey there and pavement dey around am, wit thirty rooms dey face di pavement. ¹⁸Di pavement run for di side of di gateways, match dia length; dis one na di lower pavement. ¹⁹E measure from di front of di lower gateway reach di outer front of di inner court: like 175 feet, for east and for north.

²⁸Den e bring me go inside di inner court through di south gate, and e measure am, di same as di oda ones. ²⁹Im guard rooms, doorposts, and entrance hall share one measure, wit windows all around, inside am and inside im hall; eighty-eight feet long, forty-four feet wide. ³⁰Porches dey all around, like forty-four feet long and like nine feet wide. ³¹Im porch dey face di outer court, wit palm trees wey dem carve on im doorposts; eight steps dey climb go up.

³⁸One room dey wit im doorway near di doorposts of di gateways, where dem dey wash di burnt offering. ³⁹For di entrance hall of di gateway, two tables dey stand for each side, for slaughtering di burnt offering, di sin offering, and di guilt offering. ⁴⁰For outside, where you dey climb go di entrance of di north gate, two tables dey stand; two more dey di oda side of di porch of di gateway. ⁴¹Four tables dey stand for each side near di gateway—eight tables all together—na on top dem dem dey slaughter di sacrifices. ⁴²Four tables wey dem cut from stone dey for di burnt offering, like two and a half feet long, two and a half wide, and twenty-one inches high, wey dey hold di tools for slaughtering di burnt offering and di sacrifice. ⁴³Double-prong hooks, one handbreadth long, dem fasten dem all around inside; and on di tables dem put di flesh of di offering.

Rooms for Dem Wey Dey Serve

⁴⁴Outside di inner gateway, rooms dey for di singers inside di inner court: one near di north gate dey face south, one near di east gate dey face north. ⁴⁵E tell me, “Dis room wey dey face south na for di priests wey dey keep charge of di temple. ⁴⁶Di room wey dey face north na for di priests wey dey in charge of di altar. Dem na di sons of Zadok, di ones among Levi im descendants wey fit come near our Papa make dem serve am.”
