Hungry to Carry di Gospel Come

¹³My brothers and my sisters, I want make una know say plenty times I plan to come see una, but something dey stop me till now—so dat I fit reap harvest among una too, as e dey be among di rest of di nations. ¹⁴I get debt to pay Greek people and non-Greek people, to di wise ones and di foolish ones. ¹⁵Na so I dey hungry to preach di gospel to una too wey dey Rome.

¹⁶Shame no dey catch me for di gospel—na di power of our Papa e be wey dey save everybody wey believe, di Jew first, and di Greek too.

¹⁷Because na inside am dem dey reveal di correct-and-holy way of our Papa, from faith go reach faith, as dem write am say: “Di correct person go live by faith.” ^a a v17 “From faith go reach faith”: na faith dey power di gospel from beginning till end—from first to last.

How our Papa Vex Against Sin

¹⁸Because dem dey reveal di vex of our Papa from heaven against all di godlessness and wickedness of human being, di people wey dey use wickedness press down di truth. ¹⁹Wetin person fit know about our Papa dey plain for dem eye, because na our Papa self make am plain for dem. ²⁰Since di time e create di world, di things about am wey eye no fit see—im power wey no dey end and im God-nature—dey show clear-clear, and person fit understand am through di things wey e make. So dem no get any excuse. ²¹Even though dem know our Papa, dem no honour am as God, dem no thank am—instead, dem thinking turn to ordinary nothing, and dem senseless heart come dark. ²²Dem dey claim say dem wise, but dem turn to foolish people, ²³and dem swap di glory of our Papa wey no dey die, take image wey dem carve like person wey go die, and like bird, and animal, and things wey dey crawl for ground. ²⁴So our Papa leave dem give di desire wey dey dem heart, give impurity, so dat dem come dey disgrace dem own body among demself, ²⁵because dem swap di truth about our Papa take lie, dem dey worship and serve wetin e create instead of di Creator, wey we go praise forever. Amen.

²⁶Because of dis, our Papa leave dem give shameful desire. Even dem women swap di natural way take di way wey no natural. ²⁷For di same way, di men too comot from di natural way with woman, and dem body dey burn with bad desire for each other—men dey do disgraceful thing with men, and dem dey receive for dem own body di punishment wey dem wrong way deserve. ²⁸Since dem refuse to keep our Papa for dem mind, e hand dem over to mind wey no fit reason well, to dey do things wey no correct. ²⁹Dem full with all kind wickedness, evil, greed, and bad mind; dem full with envy, killing, quarrel, deceit, and hatred; dem be talk-talk people wey dey carry gossip, ³⁰dem dey spoil people name, dem hate our Papa, dem get strong-head, dem dey do proud, dem dey brag, dem dey find new way to do evil, dem no dey hear word for dem papa and mama, ³¹dem no get sense, dem no dey keep promise, dem heart hard, dem no get mercy. ³²Even though dem know di correct-and-holy judgement of our Papa say people wey dey do dis kind thing deserve death, no be say dem just dey do am, but dem still dey clap for di people wey dey do am.
