Psalms 85

85 ¹ You show your land favor, our Papa; you bring back di good things of Jacob. ² You forgive di wrong wey your people do; you cover all dia sin. Selah. ³ You carry all your vex comot; you turn comot from your hot anger.

⁴ Bring us back, our Papa, our salvation; put your anger against us for one side. ⁵ You go vex with us forever? You go carry your anger reach all generation? ⁶ You no go bring us back to life again, so your people fit find joy for you? ⁷ Show us your Covenant love, our Papa, and give us your salvation.

⁸ Make I hear wetin our Papa go talk, because e go speak peace to im people, to im faithful ones; but make dem no turn go back to dia foolish ways. ⁹ For true, im salvation dey near to dem wey dey fear am, so dat glory fit dwell for our land. ¹⁰ Covenant love and faithfulness don meet togeda; correct-and-holy way and peace don kiss. ¹¹ Faithfulness dey spring up from di ground, and correct-and-holy way dey look down from di sky. ¹² Yes, our Papa go give wetin good, and our land go bring out im harvest. ¹³ Correct-and-holy way go go before am and prepare di way for im steps.
