Luke 16

16 ¹E come tell im disciples again say, "One rich man get manager wey dem accuse say e dey waste im property. ²E call am come say, 'Wetin be dis tori wey I dey hear about you? Give me account of how you dey run my property, because you no fit be my manager again.'

³"Di manager begin talk for im mind say, 'Wetin I go do? My oga wan collect my work from me. I no get power to dig ground, and shame no gree me beg.' ⁴I don know wetin I go do, so dat when I lose dis work, people go welcome me enter dia house.' ⁵So e call di people wey owe im oga money, one by one, and e ask di first one say, 'How much you owe my oga?' ⁶Di man talk say, 'One hundred measure of olive oil.' Di manager tell am say, 'Take your bill, siddon quick-quick, and write fifty.' ⁷Den e ask anoda one say, 'You nko, how much you owe?' Di man talk say, 'One hundred measure of wheat.' E tell am say, 'Take your bill, and write eighty.'

⁸"Di oga come praise di manager wey no dey straight, because e do sharp-sharp thing; because di pikin dem of dis world dey more sharp wit dia own generation pass di pikin dem of light. ⁹I dey tell una, make friend for una sef wit dis world money, so dat when e finish, dem go welcome una enter house wey no dey end. ¹⁰Person wey dey faithful wit small thing go dey faithful wit big thing too; and person wey no dey straight wit small thing no go dey straight wit big thing too. ¹¹So if una no dey faithful wit dis world money, who go fit trust una wit di true-true riches? ¹²And if una no dey faithful wit anoda person property, who go give una una own? ¹³No house servant fit serve two oga. ¹⁵E come tell dem say, "Una dey make unasef look correct for people front, but our Papa sabi una heart. Wetin people dey value well-well na disgusting thing for our Papa eye."

Di Rich Man and Lazarus

²⁵"But Abraham talk say, 'My pikin, remember: for your life you receive better things, and Lazarus for im own side receive bad things. ²⁹"But Abraham talk say, 'Dem get Moses and di Prophet dem; make dem listen to dem.'

³⁰Di man talk say, 'No o, father Abraham, but if person from di dead go meet dem, dem go repent.'

³¹Abraham tell am say, 'If dem no gree listen to Moses and di Prophet dem, dem no go gree believe even if person rise from di dead.'"
