2“Command di Israel people make dem send comot from di camp everybody wey get skin disease, everybody wey get discharge, and everybody wey don touch dead body come dirty. 3Send dem comot, man and woman; send dem go outside di camp, so dem no go make dem camp dirty, di place wey I dey stay for dem middle.”

Confession and Pay-Back
5Den our Papa talk to Moses:
6“Tell Israel people: When man or woman commit any sin wey person fit commit, and betray me, dat person don guilty. 7Dem must confess di sin wey dem commit, pay back full for di wrong wey dem do, add one-fifth on top, and give am to di person wey dem wrong. 8But if dat person no get any relative wey go collect di pay-back, e belong to me and e go go di priest, plus di ram wey dem use cover di guilty person sin. 9Every contribution among all di holy gift wey Israel people bring give di priest belong to am. 10Everybody holy gift na dem own e go remain; wetin person give di priest belong to di priest.”

11Den our Papa talk to Moses:
12“Talk to di Israel people and tell dem: If any man wife waka comot for road and no dey faithful to am, 13if another man sleep with am, wey hide from her husband, and dem no catch am even though she don dirty—no witness dey against am, dem no catch am for di act, 14spirit of jealousy come cover di husband, and e dey jealous im wife, wey don dirty; or spirit of jealousy come cover am, and e dey jealous even though she no dirty. 15Di man must bring im wife go di priest, together with her offering: like two quart of barley flour. E no go pour oil on top am and e no go put frankincense on top am, because na grain offering of jealousy, grain offering of remembrance, wey dey bring guilt come mind. 16Di priest go bring am come near and stand am for front of our Papa. 17Di priest go take holy water put inside clay pot, take dust from di tabernacle floor, and put am inside di water. a a v17 Dis bitter-water ritual na divine trial by ordeal: if di woman guilty, her body go suffer harm; if she innocent, notin go do am. 18Di priest go stand di woman for front of our Papa, loosen her hair, and put for her hand di grain offering of remembrance—di jealousy offering—while e hold di bitter water wey dey bring curse. 19Di priest go put am under oath and tell am: ‘If no man sleep with you, and you no waka comot for road come dirty yourself under your husband authority, make you free from dis bitter water wey dey bring di curse. 20But if you waka comot under your husband, dirty yourself, and man wey no be your husband sleep with you.’ 21Den di priest go tie di woman with dis curse-oath, dey talk: Make di Papa turn you into curse and shame among your people, as e go make your thigh dry up and your belle swell. 22Make dis water wey dey bring curse enter your body, swell your belle and waste your thigh. Den di woman must talk, ‘Amen, amen.’
23“Den di priest go write dis curses for scroll and wash dem comot enter di bitter water. 24E go make di woman drink di bitter water wey dey curse; di water wey dey curse go enter am, cause bitter suffering. 25Di priest go take di jealousy grain offering from her hand, wave am for front of our Papa, and bring am go di altar. 26Di priest go take one handful of di grain offering, na im memorial portion, burn am for di altar, den make di woman drink di water. 27After e make am drink di water, if she don dirty herself and betray her husband, di water wey dey bring curse go enter am, cause bitter suffering: her belle go swell, her thigh go dry up, and she go turn curse among her people. 28But if di woman no dirty herself and she clean, dem clear am and she go born pikin.
29“Na dis be di law of jealousy: when wife wey dey under her husband waka comot for road and dirty herself, 30or when spirit of jealousy hold man and e dey jealous im wife: e go stand am for front of our Papa, and di priest go apply dis whole law give am. 31Di husband go free from guilt, but di woman go answer for her own sin.”
