2 Corinthians 7

7 ¹So, my loved ones, since we get dis promises, make we clean ourselves comot from every dirty ting wey dey touch body and spirit, and make we complete holiness as we dey fear our Papa.

²Make una open una heart give us. We no do anybody bad, we no spoil anybody, we no cheat anybody. ³No be say I dey talk dis one to condemn una. As I don talk before: una dey inside our heart, make we die together and live together. ⁴I get plenty confidence for una, I dey proud of una well well. My belle full with comfort, and joy dey overflow for me for inside all our suffering.

⁵Even wen we reach Macedonia, our body no get rest at all—dem dey worry us for every side, wahala dey outside, fear dey inside. ⁶But our Papa, wey dey comfort di people wey don cast down, comfort us wen Titus come. ⁷No be only say e come, but also di comfort wey e receive because of una—e tell us how una dey long for me, how una heart dey pain, how una dey do things hot for my sake—so I rejoice pass before.

⁸Even though my letter make una heart pain, I no dey regret am—even though I bin regret am small, since I see say dat letter pain una, even if na for small time. ⁹Now I dey rejoice—no be say una heart pain, but say di pain bring una to repent. Una heart pain di way our Papa want am, so una no lose anytin because of us. ¹⁰Because di kind pain wey follow di way our Papa want am dey bring repentance wey dey lead to salvation, and person no go regret am; but di pain wey belong to dis world dey bring death. ¹¹Just look wetin dis pain wey follow di way our Papa want am produce for una: seriousness, mind to clear una name, vex, fear, longing, hot spirit, and readiness make justice happen! For everytin, una don show say una clean for dis matter. ¹²So even though I write give una, no be because of di person wey do di wrong, or di person wey dem wrong am, but so dat una true heart for us go show clear for una own eye before our Papa. ¹³Na dis one make we don receive comfort. And on top our own comfort, we rejoice pass because of Titus own joy, because all of una don refresh im spirit. ¹⁴Whatever I boast to am about una no shame me. Just as everytin wey we tell una na true, na so di boasting wey we do before Titus come be true too. ¹⁵Im heart for una dey grow bigger, as e dey remember how all of una obey, and how una welcome am with fear and shaking. ¹⁶I dey rejoice, because for everytin I get complete confidence for una.
