1 Corinthians 3

3 ¹My brothers and sisters, I no fit yarn to una as people wey belong to di Spirit, but as people wey still dey follow di flesh—like small pikin wey just enter Christ. ²I give una milk, no be hard food, because una neva ready that time. Even now sef, una still neva ready. ³Una still dey follow di flesh. As jealousy and quarrel still dey among una, e no mean say una dey follow di flesh, dey live like ordinary human being? ⁴For wen one person talk say, “I dey follow Paul,” and anoda one talk say, “I dey follow Apollos,” e no mean say una dey act like ordinary human being?

⁵So wetin be Apollos? Wetin be Paul? Na servants wey una take believe, each one as Oga give am work. ⁶I plant, Apollos water am, but na our Papa make am grow. ⁷So person wey plant or person wey water no be anytin—na only our Papa, wey dey make am grow. ⁸Di person wey plant and di person wey water na one; each one go collect im own reward for im own work. ⁹Because na our Papa we dey work with together; una na im farm, im building.

¹⁰By di grace wey our Papa give me, I lay foundation like wise oga-builder, and anoda person dey build ontop am. Make each person watch well how e dey build ontop am. ¹¹Because nobody fit lay any oda foundation pass di one wey dem don lay already, wey be Jesus Christ. ¹²Now if anybody build ontop di foundation with gold, silver, precious stone, wood, dry grass, or straw, ¹³each person work go show clear, because di Day go reveal am, because fire go expose am, and na that same fire go test wetin each person work be. ¹⁴If di work wey person build still stand, e go collect reward. ¹⁵If person work burn finish, e go suffer loss—but e go still save imsef, but na like person wey pass through fire.

¹⁶Una no know say una na our Papa temple, and di Spirit of our Papa dey live inside una? ¹⁷If anybody spoil di temple of our Papa, our Papa go spoil am. Because di temple of our Papa holy, and na una be that temple.

¹⁸Make nobody deceive imsef. If anybody among una think say e wise for dis age, make e turn foolish person, so e fit become wise. ¹⁹Because di wisdom of dis world na foolishness for our Papa front. Because Scripture talk say, “E dey trap di wise people inside dia own sense-sense,” ²⁰and again, “Our Papa know di tinking of di wise people, say e be waste.” ²¹So make nobody dey brag about human being. Because everytin na una own, ²²whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or world or life or death, or di tin wey dey now or di tin wey dey come—everytin na una own, ²³and una na Christ own, and Christ na our Papa own.
