Isaiah 63

Book

Jesus, Wey Get Power to Save

One person dey come from Edom with cloth wey blood stain, e don match di winepress alone and nobody help am. Den di memory turn soft: our Papa suffer when im people suffer, e carry dem, until dem grieve im Spirit. E end with question: where im compassion go?

Chapter 63.

Who be dis one wey dey come from Edom, wit cloth wey red blood don stain from Bozrah, dis one wey fine well-well for im cloth, wey dey waka wit im big power? “Na me—Jesus—wey dey proclaim correct-and-holy way, wey get power to save.” a a v1 Di apostle John see Jesus, wey wear robe wey dem don dip inside blood, wey dey step for di winepress of im Papa anger — Revelation 19:11-15.

Why your cloth red so, and your garment be like person wey dey step inside winepress?

“Na me one step di winepress, and from di people nobody dey wit me; I crush dem for my anger and trample dem for my vex; dia blood splash for my garment, and I stain all my cloth. Because di day wey I go settle account bin dey for my heart, and di year of my redeemed people don come. I look, but nobody dey to help; e shock me say nobody hold me up; so na my own arm bring salvation for me, and my vex hold me up. I trample di people for my anger; I make dem drunk for my vex, and I pour dia blood for ground.”

I Go Tell About Our Papa Im Love

I go tok about di Covenant love of our Papa, di praises wey be im own, according to all wey e don do for us, and di big goodness wey e don show to di house of Israel, according to im tender mercy wey dey pain belle, according to im plenty Covenant love.

Because e tok say, “For true, na my people dem be, pikin dem wey no go do falseness.” And e become dia Savior.

For all dia suffer, e too suffer, and di messenger of im presence save dem; for im love and for im tender mercy wey dey pain belle e redeem dem; e lift dem up and carry dem for all di days of before-before. But dem rebel and grieve im Holy Spirit; so e turn become dia enemy, and na imsef fight against dem. Den e remember di days of before-before, of Moses and of im people. Where di one wey lead dem come up from di sea, wit di shepherds of im flock? Where di one wey put im Holy Spirit among dem, wey stretch out im glorious arm for di right hand of Moses, wey divide di waters before dem so dat e go make everlasting name for imsef, wey lead dem pass di deep places? Like horse for wilderness, dem no stumble. Like animal wey dey go down inside di valley, di Spirit of our Papa give dem rest. Na so You lead your people, so dat You go make glorious name for yoursef.

Look Down From Heaven

Look down from heaven and see, from your holy and glorious dwelling place. Where your zeal and your mighty works? Di stirring of your heart and your tender mercy wey dey pain belle, dem hold am back from me. Because na You be our Papa, even doh Abraham no know us and Israel no recognize us; na You be our Papa; our Redeemer from ages wey don pass, na your name. Why, our Papa, You dey let us waka comot from your ways and make our heart hard, so dat we no dey fear You? Come back because of your servants, di tribes of your heritage. For small time your holy people hold di possession; our enemies don trample your sanctuary. We don become like people wey You never rule at all, like people wey dem no call by your name.
