Isaiah 62

62 ¹Because of Zion I no go keep quiet, and because of Jerusalem I no go rest, until her correct-and-holy way go shine like morning light, and her salvation like torch wey dey burn. ²Di nations go see your correct-and-holy way, and all di kings go see your glory; and dem go call you new name wey our Papa imsef go give you. ³You go be fine crown for di hand of our Papa, a royal crown for di hand of our Papa. ⁴Dem no go call you Forsaken again, dem no go name your land Desolate; but dem go call you Hephzibah—My Delight Dey Inside Her—and your land Beulah—Married; because our Papa heart dey take joy for you, and dem go marry your land. ⁵Because as young man dey marry young woman, na so your pikin dem go marry you; and as bridegroom dey rejoice over im bride, na so your Papa go rejoice over you.

⁶For your walls, Jerusalem, I don put watchmen; all day and all night dem no go ever keep quiet. Una wey dey remind our Papa, no give unasef rest, ⁷and no give am rest until he establish Jerusalem and make dem dey praise her for di whole earth.

⁸With im right hand Our Papa don swear, and with di arm of im strength: “I no go ever again give your grain to your enemies as food, and foreigners no go drink di new wine wey you work hard for; ⁹but di people wey harvest am go chop am and praise our Papa, and di people wey gather am go drink am for di courts of my holy place.”

¹⁰Pass through, pass through di gates! Prepare di way for di people. Build am up, build up di highway; comot di stones; raise banner over di peoples.
