Isaiah 62

62 ¹For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness shines out like the dawn, and her salvation like a blazing torch. ²The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; and you will be called by a new name that our Father himself will give you. ³You will be a crown of beauty in the hand of our Father, a royal crown in the hand of our Father. ⁴No longer will they call you Forsaken, nor name your land Desolate; but you will be called Hephzibah—My Delight Is in Her—and your land Beulah—Married; for our Father's heart delights in you, and your land will be married. ⁵For as a young man marries a young woman, so will your sons marry you; and as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your Father rejoice over you.

⁶On your walls, Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen; all day and all night they will never be silent. You who remind our Father, give yourselves no rest, ⁷and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes her praised throughout the earth.

⁸By his right hand Our Father has sworn, and by the arm of his strength: "Never again will I hand your grain to your enemies as food, nor will foreigners drink the new wine you toiled for; ⁹but those who harvest it will eat it and praise our Father, and those who gather it will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary."

¹⁰Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway; clear away the stones; raise a banner over the peoples.

¹¹Look, our Father has proclaimed to the ends of the earth: Say to daughter Zion, "Look, your salvation is coming; look, his reward is with him, and his payment before him." ^a a v11 Revelation 22:12 names this coming One — Jesus says, "Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me."

¹²And they will be called The Holy People, The Redeemed of our Father; and you will be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.
