Im talk say: My Papa na my rock, my fortress, di one wey dey rescue me. My Papa, my rock, wey I dey hide inside, my shield and di power of my salvation, my strong place and my hiding place, my savior—na You dey save me from wickedness. I dey call my Papa, wey deserve praise, and dem save me from my enemies. Bikos di waves of death cover me; di flood of destruction make me fear. Di ropes of di grave tie me; di trap of death stand for my front. For my trouble I call my Papa; I cry give my God make E help me. From im temple E hear my voice, and my cry reach im ears. Den di earth shake and quake; di foundations of di heavens tremble and shake, bikos vex catch am. Smoke comot from im nose, and fire wey dey chop everytin comot from im mouth; burning coal dey blaze from am. E open di heavens come down, wit dark cloud for under im feet. E climb one cherub come fly; E soar for di wings of di wind. E make darkness im covering wey surround am—di dark rain cloud of di sky. From di brightness wey dey im front, coal of fire blaze. My Papa thunder from heaven; di Most High raise im voice. E shoot im arrows come scatter im enemies, E throway lightning come scata dem. Di bottom of di sea show, di foundations of di world open bare, for di rebuke of my Papa, for di blow of breath from im nose. E reach down from up high come hold me; E pull me comot from deep water. E rescue me from my powerful enemy, from di people wey hate me wey strong pass me. Dem stand for my front for di day of my disaster, but my Papa na di one wey hold me up. E bring me comot go wide place; E rescue me bikos I sweet am for eye. My Papa do me according to my correct-and-holy way; according to how my hand clean E pay me back. Bikos I don keep di ways of my Papa; I no comot from my God for wicked way. All im judgments dey my front; I no turn comot from im laws. I no get blame for im front, and I keep myself clear from my guilt. So my Papa pay me back according to my correct-and-holy way, according to how I clean for im eye. To di person wey faithful, You dey show Yourself faithful; to di person wey no get blame, You dey show Yourself wey no get blame. To di person wey clean, You dey show Yourself clean, but to di person wey crooked, You dey show Yourself sharp pass am. You dey save di people wey dey suffer, but Your eye dey on di proud people, to bring dem down. Bikos na You be my lamp, my Papa; E dey turn my darkness to light. Wit You I fit rush go meet army; wit my Papa I fit jump cross wall. As for my Papa, im way perfect; di word of my Papa no get any fault. E be shield to everybody wey dey hide inside am. Bikos who be God if no be our Papa? And who be rock except our Papa? My Papa na my strong hiding place; E dey make my way no get blame. E dey make my feet like di feet of deer and E dey put me stand tight for di high places. E dey train my hands for war, so dat my arms fit bend bow of bronze. You don give me di shield of Your salvation, and Your gentle way don make me big. You dey make di road wide for under me, so dat my leg no go slip. I chase my enemies come destroy dem; I no turn back until dem finish. I chop dem finish and break dem so dat dem no fit rise; dem fall for under my feet. You dress me wit strength for war; You make di people wey rise against me bow for under me. You make my enemies turn dem back dey run, and di people wey hate me, I destroy dem. Dem look, but nobody dey to save dem—even to my Papa, but E no answer. I grind dem fine like di dust of di earth; I crush dem and step dem like mud for street. You deliver me from di fight of my people; You keep me as head of nations; people wey I no know dey serve me now. Foreigners dey shake for my front; once dem hear, dem dey obey me. Foreigners lose heart; dem dey come dey tremble from dem strong places. My Papa dey alive! Blessing dey for my Rock! Make dem lift my Papa high, di Rock of my salvation! Na my Papa be di one wey dey give me justice and dey bring di peoples down for under me. E dey bring me comot from my enemies. You lift me high pass di people wey rise against me; You rescue me from di violent man. Na why I go praise You among di nations, my Papa; I go sing praise to Your name. E dey give im king big victory and E dey show Covenant love to im anointed one, to David and im children forever.
