Chapter 13.

How long, my Papa, you go forget me? Forever? How long you go hide your face from me?

How long I go fight with my own thoughts and carry sorrow for my heart di whole day? How long my enemy go dey win me? Look me and answer me, my Papa; give light to my eyes, or I go sleep for death.

My enemy go say, “I don win am,” and my enemies go rejoice when I fall. But I don trust your faithful love; my heart go rejoice for your salvation. I go sing to my Papa, because e don do me well well.
