Hezekiah Spread Am Before our Papa

Our Papa Bring Sennacherib Pride Come Down

I don reach im farthest height, im thickest forest. ²⁴I don dig wells and drink foreign waters; with di sole of my feet I don dry up all di streams of Egypt. ²⁵You never hear? Long time ago I do am; from di days of old I plan am. Now I don make am happen, dat you go turn strong cities wey get wall into heap of ruins. ²⁶Di people wey dey live inside, wey no get strength again, dem fear and shame catch dem. Dem be like plants of di field, like tender green shoot, like grass wey dey grow for rooftop, wey sun burn before e grow. ²⁷But I know when you sidon, when you dey go out and when you dey come in, and how you dey rage against me. ²⁸Because of how you dey rage against me and your pride wey don reach my ears, I go put my hook for your nose and my bridle for your lips, and I go turn you back by di road wey you take come.
