Psalms 115

115 ¹ No be for us, our Papa, no be for us, but na to your name make glory go, because of your Covenant love and your faithfulness.

² Why di nations go dey talk say, "Where dia God dey now?" ³ Our Papa dey for di heavens; e dey do wetin e like. ⁴ Dia idols na silver and gold, di work wey human hand make. ⁵ Dem get mouth, but dem no fit talk; eye, but dem no fit see; ⁶ dem get ear, but dem no fit hear; nose, but dem no fit smell; ⁷ dem get hand, but dem no fit feel; leg, but dem no fit waka; and no sound dey comot from dia throat. ⁸ Di people wey make dem go come be like dem, and everybody wey dey trust dem too.

⁹ Israel, put your trust for our Papa! Na im be dia help and dia shield. ¹⁰ House of Aaron, put your trust for our Papa! Na im be dia help and dia shield. ¹¹ Una wey dey fear our Papa, put una trust for am! Na im be dia help and dia shield.

¹² Our Papa don remember us; e go bless us. E go bless di house of Israel; e go bless di house of Aaron; ¹³ e go bless dem wey dey fear our Papa, di small ones and di big ones.

¹⁴ Make our Papa make una grow more and more, una and una pikin dem. ¹⁵ Make our Papa bless una, di One wey make heaven and earth.
