9 1Wisdom—Jesus, di wisdom of our Papa—don build her house; she don cut out her seven pillar dem. 2She don kill her animal dem; she don mix her wine; she don set her table too. 3She don send her young women make dem go call from di highest place dem of di town: 4"Anybody wey be simple person, make e come inside here!" To di person wey no get sense she talk say, 5"Come, chop my bread and drink di wine wey I don mix. 6Leave your simple ways, make you live; waka for di way of understanding." 7Anybody wey correct person wey dey mock dey bring insult come im own head, and anybody wey talk true give wicked person go collect wound. 8No talk true give person wey dey mock, if not e go hate you; talk true give wise man, and e go love you. 9Teach wise man and e go get more sense; teach person wey dey follow correct-and-holy way and e go learn even more. 10Di fear of our Papa na di beginning of wisdom, and to know di Holy One na understanding. 11Because through me your days go plenty well well, and dem go add years give your life. 12If you get sense, na for yourself you get sense; if you dey mock, na you alone go carry am.
