30 ¹Moses tell di tribal heads of Israel: Na dis be wetin our Papa command. ²When man make vow to our Papa, or swear oath wey tie am with promise, he no fit break im word; he must do everytin wey im mouth talk.

³If woman make vow to our Papa and tie herself with promise while she still young, still dey live for her papa house, ⁴when her papa hear her vow and di promise wey tie her, and he no talk anytin give her, all her vow and every promise wey tie her go stand. ⁵But if her papa stop her di day wey he hear am, none of her vow or di tie wey she tie herself with go stand; our Papa go forgive her, because her papa stop her.

⁶If she marry while she still dey under her vow, or under quick-quick promise wey she don make, ⁷and her husband hear about am and he keep quiet give her di day wey he hear am, her vow go stand, and di tie wey she tie herself with go stand. ⁸But if her husband stop her di day wey he hear am, he cancel di vow wey tie her and di quick-quick promise wey she make; and our Papa go forgive her.

⁹But di vow of widow or woman wey dem don divorce—everytin wey she tie herself to—go stand against her.

¹⁰If she make vow for her husband house, or tie herself with promise under oath, ¹¹and her husband hear am, he no talk anytin give her, and he no stop her—so all her vow go stand, and every promise wey she tie herself with go stand. ¹²But if her husband cancel dem di day wey he hear am, nothing wey she talk—her vow or di promise wey tie her—go stand: he don cancel dem, and our Papa go forgive her. ¹³Any vow and any binding oath wey she make to humble herself, her husband fit confirm am or cancel am. ¹⁴But if her husband keep quiet give her from day to day, he dey confirm all her vow or di tie wey tie her; he confirm dem, because he keep quiet give her di day wey he hear dem. ¹⁵But if he cancel dem after he don hear dem, den he go carry her guilt.
