4 ¹Na where all di war and fight wey dey among una come from? No be di craving wey dey fight inside una? ²Una want but una no get—una dey kill. Una crave am but una no fit get am—una dey quarrel and fight. Una no get because una no dey ask. ³Una dey ask but una no dey receive, because una dey ask di wrong way, to spend am on una own enjoyment. ⁴Una people wey dey commit adultery! Una no know say to friend di world na to be enemy to our Papa? Anybody wey choose to be im friend don become enemy to our Papa. ⁵Or Scripture dey talk for nothing, wey e talk say di spirit wey e put inside us dey long with jealousy? ⁶But e dey give more grace. Na why Scripture talk say, “Our Papa dey stand against proud people but e dey give grace to people wey dey humble.”

⁷So, make una submit una self to our Papa. Resist di devil, and e go run comot from una. ⁸Come close to our Papa, and e go come close to una. Wash una hand clean, una sinners; make una heart pure, una people wey get two mind. ⁹Make una sorry, make una mourn, and make una cry. Turn una laugh to mourning and una joy to sadness. ¹⁰Humble una self for front of our Papa, and e go lift una up.
