Exodus 7

7 ¹Our Papa tell Moses say, “See, I don make you like God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your broda go be your prophet. ²You go talk everytin wey I command you; and Aaron your broda go tell Pharaoh make e send di Israelite comot from im land. ³But I go harden Pharaoh heart, and I go do plenty sign and wonda for di land of Egypt. ⁴Pharaoh no go gree hear you, so I go stretch my hand against Egypt, and I go bring my army—my people, di pikin dem of Israel—comot from di land of Egypt through big judgment. ⁵Di Egypt people go know say na I be di Papa when I stretch my hand against Egypt and bring di people of Israel comot from among dem.”

⁶Moses and Aaron do so; dem do just as our Papa don command dem. ⁷Now Moses be eighty years old, and Aaron be eighty-three years old, wen dem talk to Pharaoh.

⁸Den our Papa tell Moses and Aaron say,

⁹wen Pharaoh tell una say, “Show me one wonda to prove unaself,” you go tell Aaron say, “Take your staff, throway am for Pharaoh front, and e go turn snake.”

¹⁰Moses and Aaron go meet Pharaoh, and dem do as our Papa command. Di Nile River Turn to Blood

¹⁴Den our Papa tell Moses say, “Pharaoh heart hard well well; e refuse to let di people go. ¹⁵Go meet Pharaoh for morning as e dey comot go di water. Stand for di bank of di Nile to meet am, and carry di staff wey turn snake for your hand. ¹⁶Tell am say: Our Papa of di Hebrew people send me come meet you, e talk say, “Let my people go make dem serve me for di wilderness.” But sef reach now you never gree hear. ¹⁷Na so our Papa talk: “By dis tin you go know say na I be di Papa: look, with di staff wey dey my hand I go strike di water of di Nile, and e go turn blood. ¹⁸Di fish for di Nile go die, di Nile go smell, and di Egypt people no go fit endure to drink water from di Nile.”’” ¹⁹Our Papa tell Moses say, “Tell Aaron: Take your staff and stretch your hand over di waters of Egypt—over dia rivers, dia canal dem, dia pond dem, and all dia water reservoir dem—and dem go turn blood. Blood go full all Egypt, even inside di vessel wey be wood and stone.”
