13 ¹Our Papa talk to Moses say:

No chop bread wey dem make with yeast. ⁴Today, for di month of Abib, na so una dey comot. ⁵When our Papa bring una enter di country of di Canaanite, Hittite, Amorite, Hivite, and Jebusite people—di land wey e promise una ancestors say e go give una, wey milk and honey dey flow for inside—make una keep dis observance for dis month. ⁶For seven days una go chop bread wey no get yeast, and for di seventh day na feast to our Papa. ⁷Chop bread wey no get yeast for di seven days. No bread wey get yeast fit dey among una, no yeast for all una border. ⁸For dat day tell your son say, "Na because of wetin our Papa do for me when I comot from Egypt." ⁹E go be sign for you for your hand and reminder for your forehead, so dat our Papa im instruction go dey for your mouth; because na with mighty hand our Papa bring you comot from Egypt. ¹⁰So make una keep dis statute for di time wey dem set am, year after year.

¹¹When our Papa bring you enter di land of di Canaanite people and give you am, as e swear give you and give your ancestors, ¹²set apart for our Papa every first wey open di womb; every firstborn male among your animal na our Papa own. ¹³Redeem every firstborn donkey with lamb, but if you no do am, break im neck. Redeem every firstborn among your sons. ¹⁴When your son later ask say, "Wetin dis one mean?" tell am say, "Na with mighty hand our Papa bring us comot from Egypt, comot from di house of slavery. ¹⁵When Pharaoh harden im heart refuse to let us go, our Papa kill every firstborn for Egypt, from firstborn people reach firstborn animal. Road Wey Safe Pass
