The Bronze Altar
27 1 Make the altar of acacia wood: seven and a half feet long, seven and a half feet wide, square, and four and a half feet high. 2 Make horns on its four corners, horns of one piece with it; overlay it with bronze. 3 Make pots to clear its ashes, shovels, basins, forks, and firepans; make all its utensils bronze. 4 Make for it a grating, a bronze net; on the net make four bronze rings at its four corners. 5 Set it under the ledge of the altar, so that the net reaches halfway up the altar. 6 Make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze. 7 Put the poles through the rings, on the two sides of the altar, to carry it. 8 Make it hollow, with boards, as shown to you on the mountain—so they shall make it.
The Courtyard
9 Make the tabernacle's courtyard: curtains of finely twisted linen on the south side, about a hundred fifty feet long for that side. 10 Twenty posts with twenty bronze bases; the posts' hooks and bands, silver. 11 On the north side too, curtains a hundred fifty feet long, with twenty posts, twenty bronze bases, and silver hooks and bands for the posts. 12 For the courtyard's west width: curtains seventy-five feet long, ten posts, ten bases. 13 The width of the courtyard on the east side, toward the sunrise, shall be about seventy-five feet. 14 Curtains for one side of the gate: about twenty-two and a half feet, with three posts and three bases. 15 On the other side, curtains twenty-two and a half feet, three posts, three bases. 16 The courtyard gate's screen: thirty feet, blue, purple, and scarlet yarn with finely twisted linen, embroidered, with four posts and four bases. 17 All posts around the courtyard: banded with silver, hooks silver, bases bronze. 18 The courtyard: about a hundred and fifty feet long, seventy-five feet wide throughout, seven and a half feet high — fine twisted linen, bronze bases. 19 All the tabernacle's equipment, whatever its use, all its pegs, and the courtyard's pegs—all of bronze.
Oil for the Continual Lamp
