Psalms 26

Book

Clear My Name, Papa

Na David im own.

Chapter 26.

Clear my name, my Papa, because I don waka for my honest-and-correct way, and I don trust my Papa without shaking at all.

Check me well, my Papa, test me; make my heart and my mind pure. Because your Covenant love dey for my front, and I dey waka by di way wey you dey keep word.

I no dey sidon with people wey dey deceive, and I no dey follow pretenders waka. I hate di gathering of people wey dey do evil, and I no go sidon with wicked people. I dey wash my hand clean for innocence, and I dey waka round your altar, my Papa, as I dey shout my thank-you loud, and dey tell all di wonderful things wey you don do.

My Papa, I love di house wey you dey stay, di place wey your glory dey rest.

No sweep away my soul with sinners, no sweep my life with people wey dey do violence, wey dey hold wicked plan for their hand, and wey their right hand full of bribe. But as for me, I dey live for honest way; redeem me and show me grace.

I dey stand for level ground; for di big gathering I go bless my Papa.
