Song of di Strong City

To trust our Papa no be just feeling for here, but na city wey get wall and im gate open. Di singers confess say all dia labor produce only breeze, e no deliver anybody. So dem dey wait, dem tell dem make dem shut door until di vex pass, and dem promise say dia dead go sing from di dust.

Chapter 26.

For dat day dem go sing dis song for Judah land: We get strong city; e take salvation set am as wall and defence. Open di gates, make di correct-and-holy nation fit enter—di nation wey dey keep faith. You dey keep am for perfect peace, di person wey im mind set on you, because e trust for you. Trust for our Papa forever, because our Papa na di Rock wey no dey ever finish. a a v4 Di Rock na one of di first-first poetry name wey Scripture take call our Papa. E solid, e no dey shake, e faithful — na di ground wey no fit shake wey dey under every life wey trust am. Because e don bring down di people wey dey up for di high place, di city wey lift imsef high. E throway am for ground, e throway am go ground, e cast am down go dust. Feet dey trample am down—di feet of di poor people, di step of dem wey need. Di road of di correct-and-holy person dey level; you dey make di way of di correct-and-holy person smooth. For di road of your judgement, our Papa, we dey wait for you; your name and your praise na wetin our soul dey crave. For night my soul dey long for you; inside me my spirit dey seek you with heart. Because wen your judgement reach di earth, dem wey dey live for di world go learn wetin correct. If dem show favour to di wicked person, e no go learn correct-and-holy way; even for di land of straight-living e dey do bad, and e no dey see di majesty of our Papa. Our Papa, your hand don raise up, but dem no dey see am. Make dem see how you dey burn for your people, make shame catch dem. Make di fire wey you keep for your enemy chop dem finish. Our Papa, you go set peace for us, because na true-true you don do all our work for us. Our Papa, oda oga wey no be you don rule over us, but na your name only we dey remember. Dem don die, dem no go live; dem be spirit wey don go, dem no go rise; because you bring destruction come on dem and rub commot every memory of dem. You don make di nation grow, our Papa, you don make di nation grow; you get glory; you don widen all di border of di land. Our Papa, for inside trouble dem come find you; dem pour out prayer wey dem dey whisper wen your correction dey on top dem. Just like woman wey belle full wey dey twist and dey cry for im labour pain wen e wan born, na so we be for your front, our Papa. We carry belle, we twist, but na only wind we born. We no bring any deliverance come di earth, and di people of di world never born. Your dead people go live; dem bodi go rise. Wake up and sing for joy, una wey dey live inside di dust! Because your dew na di dew of morning light, and di earth go born di spirit wey don go. Come, my people, enter una room and lock una door for una back; hide unasef small time until di anger don pass.

Because look, our Papa dey comot from im place to punish di people of di earth for dem sin, and di earth go show di blood wey dem shed on top am and e no go cover again dem wey dem kill inside am.
