Exodus 19

⁷Moses come, call di elders of di people, and put before dem all di words wey our Papa command am. ⁸All di people answer togeda, "Everytin wey our Papa talk, we go do am." Moses come carry di people dia words go back give our Papa.

⁹Our Papa tell Moses, "I dey come meet you inside thick cloud, so dat di people go hear when I dey talk with you, and dem go trust you forever." Den Moses report di people dia words give our Papa. ¹⁰Our Papa tell Moses, "Go meet di people, make dem holy today and tomorrow; make dem wash dia clothes. ¹¹Make dem ready by di third day, because for dat day I go come down for Mount Sinai before di eyes of all di people. ¹²Mark boundary round for di people, say, 'Take una time make una no climb go up di mountain or touch im edge. Anybody wey touch di mountain go surely die.' ¹³No hand fit touch am—dem must ston am or shoot am with arrow. Whether animal or human being, e must die. When di ram horn blow long, dem fit climb go up di mountain."

¹⁴Moses come down from di mountain go meet di people, make dem holy, and dem wash dia clothes. ¹⁵And e tell di people, "Make una ready for di third day; make man no come near woman."

¹⁶For di third morning, thunder and lightning come, thick cloud cover di mountain, and one very loud trumpet blast make all di people wey dey di camp dey shake. ¹⁷Moses lead di people comot from di camp go meet our Papa, and dem stand for di foot of di mountain. ¹⁸Mount Sinai full up with smoke, because our Papa come down on top am inside fire. Smoke rise like smoke from furnace, and di whole mountain dey shake well well. ¹⁹As di trumpet sound dey grow louder and louder, Moses talk, and our Papa answer am inside thunder. ²⁰Our Papa come down on Mount Sinai, for di top of di mountain, and our Papa call Moses climb go di top of di mountain; Moses come climb go up.

²¹And our Papa tell Moses, "Go down go warn di people make dem no break through come look me, if not plenty of dem go die. ²²Even di priests wey dey come near me must make demsef holy, if not I fit break out against dem."

²³Moses tell our Papa, "Di people no fit climb come up Mount Sinai, because na you yousef warn us, say, 'Set limit round di mountain and make am holy.'"

²⁴And our Papa tell am, "Go down, den come up back with Aaron. No let di priests and di people break through come up meet me, if not I go break out against dem."

²⁵So Moses go down go meet di people and tell dem.
