Di Land Wey Your Papa Dey Give You

When person bring the first of the harvest, e go talk im own history loud — my papa na Aramean wey dey waka up and down, we cry, our Papa hear and bring us comot — then e go give and rejoice with the Levite and stranger. Today e don declare say you be im people.

Chapter 26.

Wen you enta di land wey your Papa give you as inheritance, take am own am, and settle for inside am, take some firstfruit from all di tin wey di ground produce wey you harvest from di land wey your Papa give you, put am for basket, and go di place wey your Papa choose to put im name. Go meet di priest wey dey serve for dat time and talk say, “I dey declare today to your Papa say I don enta di land wey our Papa swear to our ancestors say e go give us.” Di priest go collect di basket from your hand and put am for front of your Papa im altar. Declare for front of your Papa: “My papa na Aramean wey dey waka waka wey go down go Egypt and live dere as stranger, dem no plenty for number, and for dere dem come turn to big, strong, plenty nation.” But di Egypt people treat us bad and make us suffer and force us do hard labor. We cry go meet our Papa; our Papa hear our cry and see our suffer, our labor, and how dem dey oppress us. So our Papa bring us commot from Egypt with mighty hand, arm wey e stretch out, great fear, and sign and wonder. E bring us come here and give us dis land, land wey milk and honey dey flow. “Now I don bring di firstfruit of di ground wey you, our Papa, give me.” Den put am for im front and worship for im front. Make you rejoice for all di good tin wey your Papa don give you and your house—you, di Levite, and di stranger wey dey live among you.

Wen you don finish bring di full one-tenth of your produce for di third year, di year of di one-tenth, and you don give am to di Levite, di stranger, di pikin wey no get papa and mama, and di widow, so dat dem go chop for your towns and belleful, den talk for front of your Papa: I don comot di holy portion from my house and give am to di Levite, di stranger, di pikin wey no get papa and mama, and di widow, exactly as you command me. I no disobey or forget your commands. I no chop any of am wen I dey mourn, I no comot any wen I no clean, I no give any to di dead. I obey my Papa im voice; I do all wey you command me. Look down from your holy home for heaven, bless your people Israel and di land wey you give us, as you swear to our papa dem—land wey milk and honey dey flow.

Obey Am With Your Whole Heart and Soul

Today your Papa command you make you do dis statutes and rules, keep dem and do dem with your whole heart and with your whole soul. Today you don declare say your Papa na your Papa—say you go waka for im ways, keep im statutes, im commandments, and im rules, and obey am. Today your Papa don declare say una na im people, im precious property wey e treasure, as e promise you, and say you must keep all im commandments, and e go put you high pass all di nations wey e make, for praise, fame, and honor, and say you go be people wey holy to your Papa, as e promise.
