Our Father Speaks to Moses and Aaron
15 1 Our Father spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
2 Speak to Israel's people and say: When any man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean. 3 This is his uncleanness from discharge: whether his body flows with it or is blocked, it is his uncleanness.
4 Every bed the man with the discharge lies on is unclean; everything he sits on is unclean. 5 Whoever touches his bed must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and remain unclean until evening. 6 Whoever sits on anything the man with the discharge sat on must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
7 Whoever touches the body of the man with the discharge must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and remain unclean until evening. 8 If the man with the discharge spits on a clean person, he must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and remain unclean until evening.
9 Any saddle on which the man with the discharge rides is unclean. 10 Anyone who touches what was under him is unclean until evening; anyone who carries them must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and remain unclean until evening.
11 Anyone the man with the discharge touches, if the man hasn't rinsed his hands in water, must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and stay unclean until evening. 12 Any clay pot the man with the discharge touches must be broken; every wooden utensil must be rinsed in water.
13 When the man with a discharge is cleansed of it, he must count seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, bathe his body in fresh flowing water, and be clean. 14 On the eighth day he must take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, come before our Father at the tent of meeting's entrance, and give them to the priest. 15 The priest shall offer one as a sin offering, the other as a burnt offering, and the priest will make atonement for him before our Father for his discharge.
16 If semen leaves a man, he must bathe his whole body in water and is unclean until evening. 17 Any garment or leather with semen on it must be washed with water and stays unclean until evening. 18 If a man sleeps with a woman and semen is released, both must bathe in water and stay unclean until evening.
19 When a woman has a blood discharge from her body, she remains in her menstrual impurity seven days; whoever touches her is unclean until evening. 20 Everything she lies on during her impurity is unclean, and everything she sits on is unclean. 21 Whoever touches her bed must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 22 Whoever touches what she sits on must wash their clothes, bathe in water, and stay unclean until evening. 23 Whether the bed or what she sits on, touching it makes one unclean until evening.
24 If a man lies with her and her menstrual impurity touches him, he is unclean seven days; every bed he lies on is unclean.
25 If a woman's blood flows many days outside her monthly impurity, or beyond it, she stays unclean the whole time of the flow, as in the days of her impurity. 26 Every bed she lies on during her discharge is like her menstrual bed; every object she sits on is unclean, like her menstrual impurity. 27 Whoever touches them becomes unclean; he must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and remain unclean until evening.
28 Once she is made clean from her flow, she must count seven days, and after that she is clean. 29 On the eighth day she must take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest, at the meeting tent's entrance. 30 The priest will offer one as a sin offering, the other as a burnt offering, and make atonement for her before our Father for her impure discharge.
31 Keep the Israelites separate from their impurity, so they don't die in their impurity by making my dwelling place among them unclean.
32 This is the law for one with a discharge, and for one whose emission of semen makes him unclean, 33 for a woman in her monthly impurity, for anyone, male or female, with a discharge, and for a man who lies with an unclean woman.
