⁶So now, Tattenai wey be governor of di province wey dey Across di River, Shethar-bozenai, and una fellow officials wey dey dia—make una stay far from dat place. ⁷Make una leave di work on dis house of God alone; make di governor of di Jews and di elders of di Jews rebuild dis house of God for im own site. ⁸I dey give dis order for dis Jewish elders wey dey rebuild di house of God: make dem pay dia full cost from di royal treasury, from di taxes of di province wey dey Across di River, so dat di work no go stop. ⁹Wetin di priests for Jerusalem need every day, make una give dem am, no gap: young bulls, rams, lambs for burnt offerings to di God of heaven, and wheat, salt, wine, oil, ¹⁰so dat dem fit offer sacrifices wey go sweet di God of heaven belle, and pray for di king and im sons life. ¹¹I dey give dis order too: anybody wey change dis edict, make dem pull one beam from im house, raise am up and nail am for di beam, and make dem turn im house to rubble heap because of am. ¹²Make di God wey put im name dia scatter any king or people wey lift hand to change dis order or destroy dis house of God for Jerusalem.
