From Dust to Princes' Tables
The question is how our Father, seated that high, even sees this far down. The answer is what he does when he stoops: lifts a beggar off the ash heap to sit among princes, and gives a childless woman a household full of children.
113 1Hallelujah! Praise him, you servants of our Father; praise the name of our Father. 2Blessed be the name of our Father, from now on and forevermore. 3From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of our Father is to be praised. 4Our Father is exalted above all nations, his glory above the heavens. 5Who is like our Father, who is seated on high, 6who stoops down to look at the heavens and the earth? 7He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, 8to seat them with princes, with the princes of his people. 9He settles the childless woman in her home as a joyful mother of children. Hallelujah!
