Isaiah 54:17
No weapon forged against you will succeed, and you will refute every tongue raised against you in court. This is the inheritance of the servants of our Father, and their vindication is from me, declares our Father.

What Isaiah 54:17 means
Isaiah 54:17 says: “No weapon forged against you will succeed, and you will refute every tongue raised against you in court. This is the inheritance of the servants of our Father, and their vindication is from me, declares our Father.”
The chapter speaks to Jerusalem pictured as an abandoned, childless woman, now told to sing and enlarge her tent because her Father has not forgotten her. He admits he hid his face for a moment, but says his loyal love will outlast the mountains. Verse 17 is the last promise in that restoration: protection from every attack, and from every accusation.
The verse does not say no weapon will ever be raised; it says none will succeed. Just before it, our Father reminds them that he made even the smith who forges weapons. The protection rests on him. And it is called an inheritance, something given to children, not earned: “their vindication is from me.”
Isaiah 54:17 in context
14 In righteousness you will be established; you will be far from oppression, for you will have nothing to fear, and far from terror, for it will not come near you.
15 If anyone stirs up strife against you, it is not from me; whoever attacks you will fall before you.
16 See, it is I who created the smith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work; and it is I who created the destroyer to ravage."
17 No weapon forged against you will succeed, and you will refute every tongue raised against you in court. This is the inheritance of the servants of our Father, and their vindication is from me, declares our Father.
