Bless Us and Shine

A short harvest blessing turned outward. The people ask our Father for grace and a shining face on themselves so that his ways become known everywhere, and they repeat one request twice: let the peoples — all of them — praise him and be glad.
67 1May our Father be gracious to us and bless us, and make his face shine upon us, a a v1 Selah: a musical or liturgical pause marker; its precise meaning is uncertain. 2that your ways may be known on the earth, your salvation among all nations. 3Let the peoples praise you, our Father; let all the peoples praise you. 4Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with justice and guide the nations on the earth.
