Who Belongs in His Presence?
A psalm of David.
A question asked at the sanctuary door — who may live on our Father's holy mountain — answered with ordinary conduct: truthful speech, no slander, no harm to a neighbor, an oath kept when it turns costly, no bribes. Such a person is never shaken.
15 1Father, who may dwell in your tent? Who may live on your holy mountain? 2The one who walks with integrity and does what is right, who speaks truth from his heart. 3He does not slander with his tongue, does no harm to his neighbor, and speaks no ill of his friend. 4He despises a vile person, but honors those who fear our Father; he keeps his oath even when it costs him, and does not back out. 5He does not lend his money at interest, and takes no bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken.
