Exodus 30

30 ¹"Make altar wey you go dey burn incense on top; use acacia wood make am. ²Make am square: e go long reach eighteen inches, e go wide reach eighteen inches, and e go high reach about three feet, and im horns go be one piece with am. ³Cover am with pure gold—im top, im sides all around, and im horns—den put gold rim round am. ⁴Make two gold rings for under im molding, for two sides wey dey opposite, to hold di poles wey dem go take carry am. ⁵Make di poles with acacia wood and cover dem with gold. ⁶Put am for front di curtain wey dey near di ark of di testimony, for front di cover wey dey on top di testimony, di place wey I go meet you. ⁷Every morning wey Aaron dey arrange di lamps, e go burn incense wey dey smell sweet on top am. ⁸Wen Aaron set up di lamps for evening time, e go burn am—incense wey no go ever stop for my front, all through your generations. ⁹No offer incense wey dem no allow, or burnt offering, or grain offering on top am; no pour drink offering on top am. ¹⁰Once for one year Aaron go make atonement on top im horns; once for one year, with di blood of di sin offering of atonement, e go make atonement for am all through your generations. E holy pass everything for me."

Di Ransom for Census

¹¹Our Papa tell Moses say,

¹²"Wen you dey count di Israel people take census, each person must give me ransom for im life for dat counting, so dat no plague go come on dem as dem dey count dem. ¹³Everybody wey dem count must give about one-fifth of one ounce of silver, according to di sanctuary standard, as offering to me. ¹⁴Everybody wey dem count, from twenty years old and go up, go give dis offering to me. ¹⁵Di rich person no go give pass, and di poor person no go give less, dan dis one-fifth of one ounce, wen you dey offer am to me to make atonement for una life. ¹⁶Collect di atonement money from di Israel people; give am for di work of di tent of meeting. E go be memorial for di Israel people for my front, to make atonement for una life."

Di Bronze Basin

¹⁷Our Papa tell Moses say,

¹⁸"Make bronze basin with im bronze stand, for washing. Put am between di tent of meeting and di altar; put water inside am, ¹⁹so dat Aaron and im sons fit use am wash dem hand and dem leg. ²⁰Wen dem dey enter di tent of meeting, dem must wash with water so dem no go die; or wen dem dey come near di altar to serve, to burn food offering to me. ²¹Dem must wash dem hand and dem leg, if not dem go die. Na rule wey go last for Aaron and im descendants, from generation to generation."

Di Holy Anointing Oil

²²Our Papa tell Moses say,

²³"Take di best spices: 12½ pounds of liquid myrrh, half of dat—6¼ pounds—of cinnamon wey dey smell sweet, and 6¼ pounds of fragrant cane, ²⁴and twelve and a half pounds of cassia, wey dem measure according to di sanctuary standard, and one gallon of olive oil. ²⁵Make am holy anointing oil, perfume wey dem mix, di work of person wey sabi make perfume—holy anointing oil. ²⁶Take am anoint di tent of meeting, di ark of di testimony, ²⁷di table and all im utensils, di lampstand and im utensils, di altar of incense, ²⁸di altar of burnt offering with all im utensils, and di basin with im stand. ²⁹Dedicate dem so dat dem go holy pass everything; anything wey touch dem go become holy. ³⁰Anoint Aaron and im sons; dedicate dem to serve me as priests. ³¹Talk to di Israel people say, 'Dis one na my holy anointing oil all through una generations. ³²No pour am on anybody body, and no make anything like am with im formula. E holy—e must be holy to una. ³³Anybody wey mix anything like am, or put am on person wey no be one of una, dem go cut am off from im people.'"

Sacred Incense

³⁴Our Papa tell Moses say, "Take spices wey dey smell sweet—stacte, onycha, and galbanum—dis fragrant spices with pure frankincense, for equal parts, ^a a v34 Stacte, onycha, and galbanum na plant resins wey dey smell sweet wey dem dey use for incense mixture for di ancient Near East. ³⁵and make dem into incense wey dey smell sweet, di work of person wey sabi make perfume, add salt inside, pure and holy. ³⁶Grind some of am fine well well and put some for front di testimony inside di tent of meeting, di place wey I go meet you. E go remain holy pass everything to una. ³⁷No make incense with dis formula for una own self; e holy to una, because e belong to me. ³⁸Anybody wey make anything like am to enjoy how e dey smell, dem go cut am off from im people."
