9Den Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of di elders of Israel climb go up. 10Dem see di Papa of Israel; for under im feet, something like pavement wey dem make with sapphire stone, e clear like di sky itself. 11E no raise hand touch Israel leaders; dem see our Papa, dem chop, dem drink.
12Our Papa tell Moses say, “Come up di mountain meet me and stay for there; I go give you stone tablets wey get di law and di commandment wey I write to teach dem.”
13Moses comot go with Joshua wey be im assistant, and Moses climb go up di mountain of our Papa. 14E tell di elders say, “Wait for here for us until we go come back to una. Aaron and Hur dey with una—anybody wey get quarrel fit go meet dem.”
15Wen Moses climb go up di mountain, di cloud cover am, 16di glory of our Papa come rest on top Mount Sinai, and di cloud cover am for six days, and for di seventh day e call Moses from inside di cloud. 17For di eye of di Israel people, di glory of our Papa be like fire wey dey burn everything for di top of di mountain. 18Moses enter inside di cloud come climb di mountain; Moses stay for di mountain forty days and forty nights.
