Psalms 100

Book

Shout for Joy, All the Earth

A psalm for giving thanks.

A short liturgy for coming through the gates: enter shouting, serve gladly, know that our Father made you. Underneath the noise is a claim about ownership and belonging — we are his children and the sheep of his pasture — running through every generation.

Chapter 100.

Shout for joy to our Father, all the earth! Serve our Father with gladness; come before him with joyful song. Know that our Father—he is our Father. He made us, and we are his; we are his children, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise; give thanks to him, bless his name. For our Father is good; his covenant love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
