The Feast of Trumpets
29 1 In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you are to hold a holy assembly. You must do no laborious work; it is a day for you to sound the trumpets.
Offerings for the New Year Assembly
2 You are to offer a burnt offering as a pleasing aroma to our Father: one young bull, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old, all without blemish. 3 Their grain offering is to be fine flour mixed with oil — about six quarts for the bull, about four quarts for the ram, 4 and about two quarts for each of the seven lambs; 5 and one male goat as a sin offering, to make atonement for you. 6 These are in addition to the new-moon burnt offering with its grain offering and the regular daily burnt offering with its grain offering, along with their drink offerings, as prescribed for them — a pleasing aroma, an offering made by fire to our Father.
