Our Father Speaks to Moses

Chapter 6.

Then our Father spoke to Moses:

The Nazirite Vow

"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: When a man or a woman makes a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to set themselves apart to the Sovereign Father, they must not drink wine or strong drink. They must not drink vinegar made from wine or strong drink, or drink any grape juice, or eat fresh or dried grapes. Throughout their time of separation they must not eat anything that comes from the grapevine, not even the seeds or the skins.

Throughout their vow of separation, no razor shall touch their head. Until the time of their separation to the Sovereign Father is complete, they will be holy; they must let their hair grow long.

Throughout their time of separation to the Sovereign Father they must not go near a dead body. They must not make themselves unclean even for their father or mother, their brother or sister, when they die, because the crown of their consecration to our Father is on their head. Throughout their time of separation they are holy to the Sovereign Father.

If someone beside them dies very suddenly, defiling their consecrated head, they must shave their head on the day of their cleansing—on the seventh day they must shave it. On the eighth day they must bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest at the entrance of the tent of meeting. The priest must offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, and make atonement for them, because they sinned by being near the dead body. That same day they must reconsecrate their head. They must rededicate to the Sovereign Father the days of their separation and bring a year-old male lamb as a guilt offering. The previous days will not count, because their separation was defiled.

This is the law of the Nazirite: when the time of their separation is complete, they must come to the entrance of the tent of meeting. They must present their offering to the Sovereign Father: one unblemished year-old male lamb as a burnt offering, one unblemished year-old ewe lamb as a sin offering, and one unblemished ram as a peace offering, together with a basket of unleavened bread—loaves of fine flour mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers spread with oil—along with their grain offering and drink offerings. The priest must present them before the Sovereign Father and offer the sin offering and the burnt offering. He must offer the ram as a peace offering to the Sovereign Father, along with the basket of unleavened bread, and present its grain offering and its drink offering. Then the Nazirite must shave their consecrated head at the entrance of the tent of meeting, take the hair of their consecration, and put it on the fire under the peace offering. The priest must take the boiled shoulder of the ram, one unleavened loaf from the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and place them in the hands of the Nazirite after they have shaved off the hair of their consecration. The priest must wave them as a wave offering before the Sovereign Father. They are a holy portion for the priest, together with the breast that is waved and the thigh that is presented. After that, the Nazirite may drink wine.

This is the law of the Nazirite who vows their offering to the Sovereign Father for their separation, besides whatever else they can afford. According to the vow they make, so they must do, following the law of their separation."

Our Father Speaks Again

Then our Father spoke to Moses:

The Blessing of Aaron's Sons

"Tell Aaron and his sons: This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: May your Sovereign Father bless you and keep you; may your Sovereign Father make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may your Sovereign Father look on you with favor and give you peace."

So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.
