Numbers 2

2 ¹ Then our Father spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:

² "The Israelites shall camp each by his own standard, under the banners of their family clans; they shall camp facing the tent of meeting, all around it."

³ On the east side, toward the sunrise, shall be the standard of the camp of Judah by their divisions, and the leader of the people of Judah is Nahshon son of Amminadab. ⁴ His division, those counted, numbered 74,600.

⁵ Camping next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar, and the leader of the people of Issachar is Nethanel son of Zuar. ⁶ His division, those counted, numbered 54,400.

⁷ Then the tribe of Zebulun, and the leader of the people of Zebulun is Eliab son of Helon. ⁸ His division, those counted, numbered 57,400.

⁹ All those counted in the camp of Judah numbered 186,400, by their divisions. They will set out first.

¹⁰ On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben by their divisions, and the leader of the people of Reuben is Elizur son of Shedeur. ¹¹ His division, those counted, numbered 46,500.

¹² Camping next to him shall be the tribe of Simeon, and the leader of the people of Simeon is Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai. ¹³ His division, those counted, numbered 59,300.

¹⁴ Then the tribe of Gad, and the leader of the people of Gad is Eliasaph son of Deuel. ¹⁵ His division, those counted, numbered 45,650.

¹⁶ All those counted in the camp of Reuben numbered 151,450, by their divisions. They will set out second.

¹⁷ Then the tent of meeting shall set out, with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camps. They shall set out in the same order they camp, each in his place, under their standards.

¹⁸ On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim by their divisions, and the leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Ammihud. ¹⁹ His division, those counted, numbered 40,500.

²⁰ Next to him shall be the tribe of Manasseh, and the leader of the people of Manasseh is Gamaliel son of Pedahzur. ²¹ His division, those counted, numbered 32,200.

²² Then the tribe of Benjamin, and the leader of the people of Benjamin is Abidan son of Gideoni. ²³ His division, those counted, numbered 35,400.

²⁴ All those counted in the camp of Ephraim numbered 108,100, by their divisions. They will set out third.

²⁵ On the north side shall be the standard of the camp of Dan by their divisions, and the leader of the people of Dan is Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai. ²⁶ His division, those counted, numbered 62,700.

²⁷ Camping next to him shall be the tribe of Asher, and the leader of the people of Asher is Pagiel son of Ochran. ²⁸ His division, those counted, numbered 41,500.

²⁹ Then the tribe of Naphtali, and the leader of the people of Naphtali is Ahira son of Enan. ³⁰ His division, those counted, numbered 53,400.

³¹ All those counted in the camp of Dan numbered 157,600. They will set out last, by their standards.

³² These are the Israelites counted by their family clans. All those counted in the camps by their divisions numbered 603,550. ³³ But the Levites were not counted among the Israelites, just as our Father had commanded Moses.

³⁴ So the Israelites did everything our Father had commanded Moses. In this way they camped by their standards, and in this way they set out, each by his clan, by their ancestral families.
